Many people ask me "How do you make your lights do that?".

Well, it's not a secret so I wanted to share some information to anyone who is interested in building a computerized light show.

Please keep in mind that the following information I discuss is very basic. There are many complicated steps throughout this process.

The first thing you need to do is design a "layout" for your display and decide where you want to place the lights (roof, trees, bushes, etc.).

A snowman, deer, polar bears or other lighted sculptures also work well in a show.

Once you have done this you must write down the amperage for each light strand as it will be critical when it's time to connect power.

The next step is to purchase programmable light controllers (this is where the "magic" is created). My controllers are from Light-O-Rama.
